Why use a personal trainer?

Having someone at your side for guidance and encouragement can be enormously helpful in the initial stages of any new challenge in life.
Resistance to change is normal.
With empathy and patience, I help you meet and break through those blocks.

What do you enjoy doing?
Everyone is different, your favourite activities could range from gardening, hiking, jogging, cycling, dancing, playing with your children or grandchildren to sporting activities eg. golf, tennis or swimming.
A strong motivation for a more active lifestyle can take the form of an exercise regime that allows you to continue to do what you enjoy.

This in turn can lead to increased physical resilience, independence and overall well being.

My movement practices are both achievable and enjoyable, requiring little or no equipment.
Consistency is key!
You will develop the confidence and motivation to integrate this into your daily life.

This could be anything from a range of activities including:

Bodyweight training, yoga based movement, flow patterns, metabolic resistance training, plyometrics, balance and coordination, cardio boxing, weight training, animal flow movements, brachiation, rope swinging etc.

What do I offer?

I offer a free initial consultation and overall health check including assessments of posture, flexibility and strength.
This is usually followed by 4 to 6 six sessions to embed a pattern of activity and behaviour that works for you.
I work from the Deeper Balance studio at Mendip Court in Wells.
Alternatively, for a different ambience I can run sessions from my own personal studio space - a 20 sq meter geodesic dome!
